These pictures show part of the laser assembly process at Worldwide Laser for our product line, the LP8000 series of Co2 lasers, which features Co2 laser marking and Co2 laser cutting systems that are ready for installation and integration into existing equipment or assembly lines. The LP8000 series of Co2 laser systems (http://www.wlsc.com/laser-marking-etching/) from Worldwide Laser is complete with the laser tube, galvo or fixed beam delivery system head, laser controller software, and a rack mountable power supply. The LP8000 series Co2 laser system power supply has eight standard inputs and outputs including external control signals such as trigger, laser firing, standby, ready, busy, part in place, programmable logic controllers (PLC's), and other laser complete signals to interface with the laser. The power supply can accommodate an additional 8 input and outputs if needed. The power supply accepts voltages from 3 volts to 32 volts and converts the input voltage to 5 volts for the laser interface so most if not all production equipment can interface with the power supply. Several end users have automatic laser marking or laser cutting file selection via the power supply inputs with binary tags allowing for over 2,000 laser files to be stored and chosen automatically without human operator interface.
Give us a call and let us design and install the proper laser system on your production lines. Worldwide Laser has laser installation engineers on staff to work with your parts in our applications lab for verification of the laser marking and laser cutting process and to expertly install and train staff at your facility for running the LP8000 series of Co2 lasers. The LP8050 50 watt Co2 laser system is combined with custom tape feeder and interface software package (picture attached right)
This application (above) features a 50 watt Co2 laser from the LP8000 series of Co2 lasers, the laser is set on a welded frame with 24" x 24" work area table top, the system features a tape handler system designed and built by Worldwide Laser System Division, the feeder system can accommodate different sizes of tape (fabric, labels, metalized tags, etc) which can be indexed under or feed continuously under the laser beam for marking, kiss cutting, or as in the pictured application thru cutting. This LP8050 laser tape cutting system also features a custom user interface software program which allows the operator to schedule of series of jobs for continuous execution without any human interface in the laser job selection process. This system is an LP8100 100 watt Co2 laser cutting system for cutting thick molded glass filled plastic (picture attached right)
This application (above) is an LP8100 100 watt Co2 laser cutting (http://www.wlsc.com/laser-marking-etching/) system for cutting thick molded plastic, the end user was suffering a high rejection rate on products during final inspection as the mechanical punch process for punching holes in a thick molded glass filled plastic product was creating stress cracks. The engineers in the systems division of Worldwide Laser were able to eliminate the production problem and greatly reduce (as in almost eliminate) the rejection of products due to stress cracks. The laser system consists of a 100w Co2 laser coupled with Worldwide Laser Gavlo beam delivery system and laser controller software. The system also included a welded frame, a stand for the laser, and a second welded frame stand for the customer mold. The part is placed on the mold and then laser cut. The system includes a nitrogen gas bottle for cutting assist and a fume debris extraction system to eliminate the debris caused by the laser cutting process.
Let the laser system experts at Worldwide Laser System Division design build and install the correct laser system to help eliminate any production process issues or problems at your facility.
