Worldwide Laser Service Corporation is pleased to announce the new LP8000 Co2 laser cutting system for cutting paper stock and/or creating greeting cards or invitations the laser card cutting system demonstrated on the video attached with this announcement is configured as follows:
1. 100 watt Co2 air cooled laser tube
2. Galvo head for steering the laser beam
3. Cutting filed size of 9.8 inches by 9.8 inches
4. Custom double element focus lens to provide large cutting field with laser beam spot size under 300 microns
5. Vacuum pick up and drop off of stock into laser cutting tray and unloading tray
6. Ability to load up to 5,000.00 pieces of stock for automatic cutting and cut up to 1,000 pieces of stock per hour depending on the complexity of the laser cut
7. Ability to cut wide range of thickness and sizes of paper stock
8. Custom user software interface which allows for choosing the job to be run & number of parts to be cut
9. Many other features and customizable abilities
Currently one system is built and available immediately from stock additional systems generally have lead time aro 10 -12 weeks from design approval to delivery

The laser cutting system is software controlled and will import a wide variety of artwork directly to the laser cutter , the laser controller software is windows based and easy to use, there are three different software packages from which customers can choose depending on the specific needs and requirements, options such as scanning a bar code to select the proper laser marking files, RS232 or serial text input for automatic laser cutting of custom messages that can be changed with each laser cut in fractions of a second, or automatic selection of the proper laser cutting file with binary tag identification are available.
